Wolcott Lodge #60 Hunting Club

Several Brothers (from L-R: Mike Talamini, James Talamini, Mike Simmons) from Wolcott 60 spent a gorgeous fall day hunting at the Markover Hunting Preserve. As you can see the birds were unable to get past Ja, Jo, or Jm! 

The Brothers are planning another trip in 2010 (Spring or Fall timeframe) and are looking for any interested Brothers (or their friends) to join them.  This year was a one day event with outstanding results.  

For next years hunting outing the Brothers are considering going the day before and staying overnight in the beautiful hunting lodge at Markover.  The lodge (which can be viewed at http://www.markover.com/ ) can accommodate up to 10 hunters and has a full kitchen.  Brother Talamini has already started preparing the menu!  There is also great bass fishing available which is included with the cost of the hunt. 

This outing is a great opportunity for Brothers who love hunting to get together and share that love along with some great fraternal brotherhood. 

All hunts are guided hunts over experienced and loving bird dogs.

 Here is a breakdown of the estimated cost for 2010.

Lodging:                             $  60

6 Pheasant Hunt:                $200 (includes birds, guide/dog and tip)

Food:                                $  20  (includes dinner evening before, breakfast and lunch day of)

Total Estimate:                   $280

 If you don’t have a gun don’t worry (some of the Brothers have extras and they can also be rented at the Lodge.
